Tesla won't bring the cyber truck to China.

Tesla had previously taken the cyber truck for a demonstration tour in China,

but saying on social media that they have cancelled any plans to bring that vehicle to China.

I mean, one of the reasons has got to be that in China, pickup trucks are actually considered

light trucks. They can only do 65 or 62 miles an hour on the highway. They have to be

retired after a certain time period, compulsory. So Tesla tried for a period of time to call the cyber truck a crossover,

crossover SUV in China. Not sure the authorities are fully buying that. And so they're saying

that they're not going to change the novel design and material use of the cyber truck to meet

Chinese regulations. It's a vehicle that they won't sell there. And I would presume in Europe

as well for the same reasons.

Well, Tesla is halting cyber truck production.

Many people assume this is because of a collapse in sales of the cyber truck.

Well, it could be anything, actually.

It's a three-day shutdown.

Workers were surprised at the last minute.
