Hello and welcome to the American Birding Podcast from the American Birding Association.

I am your host, Nate Swick.

I do hope your fall birding is to your satisfaction in this, the latter half of September.

It should really be popping off, as the kids say, all over the continent right now.

The ABA is looking forward to celebrating fall migration with you

at a couple festivals events this fall. We might see you there. Statistically speaking,

we should see at least a few of you. The Cape May fall festival is coming in October. It is the 13th

through the 16th. Cape May is one of the continent's great migration hotspots and practically

in the ABA's backyard. Our headquarters, at least nominally, is across the Delaware Bay in Delaware

City. Of course, we have staffs gathered hither and yon across the United States. We will have a

good presence there. Kelly, of course, our new ED, Nikki Belmonte, plus Steve

Sebastian and Laura Gerard, both of whom are local New Jerseyans, New Jerseyites, Jersians.

I don't know, I don't know what the collective term is for New Jersey folks.

Anyway, come and say hello, we'll be there. And also, there is the big birder to do of the

fall, the Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival in Harlingen, Texas. It's the 9th of November
