that founded Titusville, Florida.

And his family, if that's the case, absolutely pro-slavery Henry P Titus founded Titusville

his wife was the daughter of a wealthy plantation owner and Henry himself

a colonel and fought on the side of pro-slavery forces in the Kansas Territory during the Civil War.

It says right here, Henry Theodore Titus.

So Titus' family not only remained white, tried to keep it white.
