I am your host Pete Werner, joined at the table this week by everyone in Orlando.

In this segment, we are going to talk about our 15th anniversary.

The Diz turned 15, the enthusiasm for this is just stunning.

The Diz turned 15 on June 1st, and in internet years, that's like, we're as old as IBM.

It's crazy.

I think especially for me, very big milestone anniversary when I think about how this started and how it grew and how it became what it is and turned into what it is.

It's just one of those things that, even though I lived it and I was there for all of it,

it's still very surreal to me. It's very surreal to me that this is 15 years that we have been doing this.

I think for John and I in particular, it's probably more surreal than it is for anyone else because we have been here since the very beginning.

I kind of want to talk about the anniversary in the 15 years and some of the milestones in the 15 years.

But also, I've been asking over the last few weeks for people to send us their Diz story.

The reason that I started this site was very simple.

I wanted to help people plan great trips to Disney.

It was my passion, is my passion, our passion, and that is at the end of the day what the site is about.

Whether it's the boards, the blog, the podcast, the Diz itself, dreams, all of these things were created to help people have better vacations at Disney.

I wanted to hear how the Diz impacted people in that way and how they made friends on the Diz.

It's become this amazing community and that's part of the reason why we have revived the venerable prize matron.

And we're doing something a little different though.

I kind of want to explain again for those people who are not familiar with the prize matron, it's actually a device that's here on my desk right now with 50 buttons on it.
