Yes, it's got something to confess.

Yes, it's true. I make mistakes.

Hard to believe, but true.

So a while back, I went online and asked for some input on gender inequality and I don't know.

Maybe I worded it the wrong way or was just touching on something that was a little too hot

button of a topic, but I feel like I got a ton of blowback for it.

One person who stepped up and engaged with me, though, was Diane Gibbs.

Diane is a designer and teacher with over two decades of experience,

and she took the time to engage with me on a human level

and help me see beyond just my own experiences.

Social media can be a mind-built,

but when you're honestly looking for answers and someone meets you openly,

the conversation becomes ripe with potential.

freelancers or lonely designers that are in they're the only designer in a marketing team or the only designer in a corporation or something
