Right, we'll kick off with some brilliant news today, and that is about the UK having one million pure EVs on the road.

It's really fantastic news.

The one millionth EV PureV just hit UK roads and was registered.

By the end of 2022, there were 675,000 pure EVs on the road.

So, 2023 was stellar and the SMMT predict that 2024 is going to be another big year with 20% of new car sales

being pure EV. And remember that now we have a what's called a mandate. So all the car

makers now have to hit a 22% minimum of pure zero emission vehicles in their fleet each year.

And if they don't hit it, there's some massive fines coming their way.

So I predict by the end of the year, there'll be some really big deals

because they'd rather discount their cars and sell them to you than pay the big fines to the government.

So that is just some great news and a really, really bit of positive news for the UK EV industry.

Rivian is going to unveil their R2 cars in March. On March the 7th, the Laguna Beach in California, the R2 will be a couple of years away,

but it'll be a much more high volume, affordable $40,000 plus vehicle that will put Rivians in

the reach of many more buyers.

Volvo achieved continuous growth for 17 consecutive months.

That's amazing.
