As I was preparing for this episode, I realized just by looking at the date that I've been out of school now for 10 years, over 10 years, really.

I graduated in 2011, I finished in December of 2010, but I didn't do the whole walk thing until May of 2011

so it's been officially over 10 years since I was in any sort of schooling.

I was 22 when I moved to LA and I'm 33 now. So the funny

thing about that though is I'm realizing that I know less now than I thought I knew 10 years ago.

And what I mean by that is when I got to LA I knew I wasn't going to be a millionaire overnight and

I knew things were going to take work but I thought I knew what I wanted to do professionally I thought I knew what I wanted to do professionally. I thought I knew where I wanted to live. I thought I knew the type of person that I would marry when I would get married when I would have kids.

It was more of when it as opposed to if and at 33 years old now

I'm realizing that I know almost zero about what's going to happen in my life.

I have plans, I have things that I'm working on but I don't I just I what I've figured

out really over the past 10 years is how much I don't know how I can't know who would have no I would have if you

had told me that I would have if you had told me that I would have been working on a

like as a co-host on a podcast for eight years with a world-class comedian when I left school,

I would have said I would have laughed you out of whatever room we were in.

I would I would have thought you were a crazy person.

And if you had told me that I would be, and this is getting into what we're going to talk about,

but if you had told me that at 33 I'd be living with my parents,

I would have thought you were insane. There would be no chance. I moved, I haven't, I hadn't been home since I was 19 I spent like a month at home

between freshman and sophomore year of college?

I never and we'll get to that in a second because what I wanted to talk about this week

and it's going to be a little bit of a shorter episode is one of the my favorite things that I learned about in LA or learned from someone in LA and this is this is why I'm doing this is even though I know almost nothing I know that there are people

around me who do know even if we all know almost nothing we know little bits of
