This is Carrie Green and I am here on the Liberal Change

Morning Mindset Edition of the liberal change podcast.

I am thankful you're here.

This is where we try to give you a morning shot in the soul

to get your head on straight and your mind ready for the day because as you think is how you're going to live.

Think about that.

What you think about yourself, what you think about the world, what you think about the world what you think about the opportunities before you

and the responsibilities on you and the people around you

is going to affect the way you interact with all of those things.

And that is a sobering thought.

So it's important that we take at least a little bit of time every morning.

Before we get started with the day, before we have an opportunity to get embroiled in the

things of daily life, to get our mindset right, to remind ourselves of the things we believe and the

truths that we hold to from the scriptures and from our faith in Christ.

And we've been doing that primarily lately on these morning mindset editions by looking at

the book of James chapter 2.

And right now we're at the very last verse of James chapter 2, verse number 26.

And it says, for as the body, apart from the spirit is dead.

So also faith, apart from from works is dead. So let's walk through that example that James is giving us.

He's saying if your body does not have the spirit united with it.
