Hey guys, welcome back to the podcast. So as much as I love talking about step parenting and providing support to stepmoms and blended families, something that you may or may not know about me is that what really lights me up, and this is especially true lately, is talking about entrepreneurship, growing online communities,

online influence, and turning a passion into a business.

Now, when I first became a stepmom, I honestly, oh, God, I was so in over my head.

I was craving community.

I was craving tips and strategies.

I just wanted to talk to someone who knew what I was going through. I was craving tips and strategies. I just wanted to talk to someone who knew

what I was going through. I was just, wow, like I can never, I really don't think I'll ever

be able to describe how I felt back then. And all of the support that I found on the internet,

like nothing really resonated with me. So these feelings eventually

led me to starting my blog about step parenting and then becoming a life coach and specializing

in step family dynamics and creating a coaching practice, a podcast, and a community. And now five

years later, this platform is my job. I turned my

need for community and my passion for helping other women and opening up the conversation

about step family life into a business. And as much as I love talking about step parenting

and blended family life, I also love talking about

the process of entrepreneurship and how I grew this platform.
