I don't really want fear to hold me back. I don't want to look back when I'm old and think, you know, you didn't do that because you were scared.

It feels very weak, so I would like to just keep pushing through my failures and overcome them.

Who am I talking about? Talk about none other than Ian Padgett. The mind, the man behind

Logel Geek and its thriving community. Ian is a scrapper, a young guy who has built his career purely out of the pursuit of doing what he loves.

Even when his parents discourage him from artistic endeavors,

Ian knew he couldn't give up. Today, without any formal education,

Ian is an in-demand designer and is conquering the SEO game. In this episode,

we're going to talk about the web and some of the things he did to

slay that beast early on in his career and we're going to talk about something that's

really important to Ian overcoming his fears.

Okay, so my name's Ian. Basically I work as a creator director for an e-commerce company and part-time I run a freelance

business called logo geek and through logo geek I'm basically working on logos for clients and I'm also

building an online community and basically creating resources for those people.

This is quite interesting.

You're a creative director for an e-commerce company?

That's correct, yes.

And then so what drove you to start logo geek?

Because I think that's how a lot of people are going to know who you are

through your doppelginger, your avatar online.

I think this is probably going to be quite an interesting story but basically ever since I've been working I've always like to kind of practice my skills on the side.
