πŸ“œ TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

JAMES 2:20-24 - Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. 24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

0:48.6

He is doing good in our lives.

0:51.6

He really is. I know it's hard to see when you're under the cloud of a

circumstance that's really hard to bear. Maybe it's a sickness, maybe it's a difficult thing

going on at your employment. Maybe it's a family crisis or a

1:16.0

The scripture says all his ways are loving and faithful and you see that's the

1:21.5

mindset shift we've got to make every morning to get our heads in the right place

1:26.1

Because if we for a second begin to believe our God is not good that he is not working for our good even in those difficult circumstances, then our faith begins to slide. Our faith begins to wane,

1:41.5

and we don't live according to the faith that we say we have in Christ.

1:47.0

And that brings us to our chapter 2 of the book of James where we've been studying.

1:52.0

And James says in verse 20 do you want to be
