Few designers have achieved the level of fandom, recognition and success that my next guest has achieved. The odd thing is he's bit of an oxymoron. He's made it big while deliberately staying small. He dispenses wisdom while simultaneously being self-deprecating.

He doesn't care about budgets or money,

yet has launched multiple brands.

He hates wearing pants, loves his mom and dad,

he is proud to be working with his buddies, and is doing whatever it takes to make it in the little leagues.

When I ask other designers, what's the secret to his appeal?
