Summary

Paul: As well as bouncing between topics like a pinball between flippers, this is an important podcast for us for two reasons. First, we’re announcing an exciting thing and second, we’re also asking you, our audience, an important question about a decision we’re thinking of making. But we won’t make it without consulting you first.

Does that sound  dramatic? Hopefully it’s whetted your appetite and stimulated your curiosity gland, but BE WARNED - mostly we just talk about games again.

Android: Netrunner, Libertalia, Guts of Glory, Puzzle Strike, Fortress America, D-Day Dice, Ghost Stories, Mission: Red Planet, The Resistance: Avalon, Agricola, Village, Mage Knight Board Game

0:02.8

I said you weren't ready at my minute. No, I'm not ready. I'm actually nervous.

0:05.9

It's not weird. We get nervous before doing I get nervous. I've never got nervous before and now you've made me nervous.

Shadow of the Settown podcast. The very third. And, uh, God, we've got some, we've got some board games for you,

0:21.7

don't we, Paul? Well, we've got a list of, we don't, we have them here in a massive stack and

0:25.5

if we could show you, if we could show you, it's quite dangerous. I think it's about to fall down,

0:29.9

really. I mean, especially that one at the top, the one that keeps creaking.

0:33.6

If we can hold out for about 45 minutes. Yeah, if this, if this tower stays, we've

0:38.3

become reverse board game jenga here and breaking the laws of physics, of good taste, of just all the

0:43.2

laws, the laws of the UK, really. So if I reach up and I take the top game off the stack.

0:48.6

The top game, it says, uh, would be puzzle strike probably because that's the game we received

0:53.6

this morning. Quite a big box. It is puzzle strike. So if we just kick off with games that we've

0:58.4

received and then we've got an interesting system for the podcast world, we're going to be

1:01.3

running a dice and whatever number that dice shows you will be the game that we talk about,

1:05.0

the game that we play this month, we're going to write the podcast. Paul came up with the system

1:08.2

so it doesn't won't blame him. Yeah, I won't because I'll be rerolling over and over.

1:12.1

Yeah, I'll just roll three again and again. Okay, so, uh, the board games we've got that are new,

1:18.2

I think. Yeah, the stuff that's arrived on our table, we'll kick off with that. So yeah,

1:22.0

tell me about puzzle strike because you know a bit more about it than I did. Yeah, well, I punched

1:25.2

out about 400 had chips this morning. So puzzle strike is, uh, yeah, that is a game. We're actually,

1:31.8

we received the third edition of puzzle strike this morning. And, um, what we've got here is,
