Tesla announced a rise in its global EV deliveries for the third quarter of the year.

They delivered 462,890 vehicles. That's up from around 435,000 in the same quarter last year.

They made more than they delivered, but only just. So not sitting on too much extra stock.

And as always, the Model 3 and the Model Y is pretty much the entire business. They delivered

only 23,000 so-called others. So Model X, Model S, and the Cybertruck. And pretty much all

of those are going to be cyber trucks. To match last year's total of 1.8 million units,

they will need to deliver a record high of over 515,000 vehicles

in the quarter that we're now in. So it probably won't happen. And if it doesn't, it'll be the

first annual decline in their deliveries in the history of that company. But their battery

storage deployments already exceed all of 2023, and we're only nine months into the year, and they've now installed 750,000

power walls globally. Ford reported their Q3 EV sales, and while their entire business was up

just under a percent, their EV business, their Model E division, was up 12 percent, Q3 compared to the

same time in 2023, but because GM had a much better

quarter, GM have leaked from them, a leapfrobed them to be best of the rest behind Tesla in the

United States. And Kia had a great, at least September. I haven't got the quarterly numbers

in front of me, but they had a

really good September for their plug-in hybrid sales and also for their all-electric sales as well.
