We will start with some news about a great little development happening in California,

and that is 100,000 public EV charges.

Some great stats coming out of the state this weekend that now has over 1.5 million

EVs on the road and 10,000 DC fast charges all achieved ahead of schedule. Governor Gavin Newsom

highlighting California's leading role in EVs with a new $1.9 billion investment plan for

accelerating progress. At least half the money will go to

disproportionately affected communities of poor air and pollution. They're heading towards their goal of

250,000 public EV charges in coming years. 34% of all the EVs sold in America come from California alone.

Now, Toyota have said the quiet bit out loud this weekend,

and I think they're finally taking their mask off,

and well, you know, I'm not the biggest fan of their strategy,

but this weekend, Toyota's CEO predicting that, or previously the

CEO of Toyota saying that they think that EVs will only ever be 30% of the market by the

end of the decade. But the CEO Ted Agar this weekend in an exclusive interview with, I think

it was automotive news saying that it's cheaper for them to pay the fines, the pollution fines, you know, not

hitting the EPA limits and stuff like that, buying credits from the likes of Tesla,

buying credits from those that are making EVs, better for them to do that than to invest in

an EV program, which is kind of not surprising, but I guess just puts you on the wrong side of history when
