If you're making something to impress your motion nerd friends,

then you can't use the presets.

You know what I mean?

Like, they're gonna know you use the Shine, Red red and orange preset.

Your client doesn't.

That's, this is not their world.

You're making stuff to, to impress them and their customers. So every once in a while I'm in a situation.

So every once in a while I'm in a situation where I'm not sure I'm making the right decision.

There's the part inside of me you guys, if I'm being honest, that says go back to do whatever you're doing and don't do

this thing that you're about to do. What am I talking about? Well let me take you

back to Las Vegas NAB 2017. I got an invitation to go to a cinema 4D Maxon after party and

it was going to be at the pinball museum. That was the hook for me. I love playing pinballs.

So I was given some obscure instructions to meet somewhere at a certain entrance at the

MGM Grand Hotel and I spent 30 minutes, I swear to you this is not an exaggeration

bouncing from one entrance to the other looking for the Golden Lion which nobody

knew what I was talking about and I'm standing outside where I think I'm supposed to be, and it's one of these

weird back alley situations, right? It's one of these weird back alley situations where nobody's there and I see the shuttle which I'm assuming is it

and look at the guy he looks back at me he makes no motion like come on in let me help you

so I assume this is the wrong thing.

There's no signage or anything like that.

And I think I've wasted a perfectly good night.

I should be heading back to my hotel room
