Porn Free Radio, episode 25. Today's topic is the pornification of culture, and it's really about

finding some surprising advocates out there for what we're doing, living porn free. You know,

we hear lots of things in culture about, you know, people celebrating pornography or pornographic things.

We hear a lot of sort of pro-porn statements or pro, you know, kind of, this is just the way it is.

Everyone does it.

And so when I encounter people out there,

um, who are like-minded, uh, when people are sort of, uh, walking in step with what we're

talking about here on Porn for Radio, I just get excited. Um, and I'd like to make one distinction, you know, I am definitely anti-porn, but I don't feel called to be an anti-porn activist.

You know, I follow a lot of people on Twitter who that's kind of their calling is to expose the seediness of the porn industry, to draw attention to anti-trafficking,

and to kind of talk about human dignity. And while I totally support that, my aim on porn-free

radio is really at recovery and restoration and helping people walk out of porn addiction like I did.

And so, you know, the last few weeks I've, you know, been sharing, you know, quotes from different spiritual people like, you know, Henry Nowan or C.S. Lewis, A.W. Tozer. And, you know, I know there's a bunch of guys out there who are a Christian who listen to this show, which is great. But I also know there's guys who are leaving porn, and it's not because of a Christian faith

or a Christian calling. It's they've found that porn hasn't served them in their walks. And you might be

one of those guys. And so I just thought, you know, hey, I would like to incorporate some other sources,

some other people talking about porn and talking about the dangers of porn.

And so I just found, I was really inspired this week when I was listening to a podcast, and pornography came up sort of inexplicably.

It just sort of came up in the middle of a conversation.

And I thought I'd play a clip for it.

But before I get there, I just wanted to kind of set up something about podcasts.

You know, I first fell in love with podcasts because I loved just listening to them.

I had never thought about being a podcaster.
