Do you remember life before smartphones?

I'm guessing you do because it wasn't that long ago.

It's kind of hard to believe that it's only been about 10 years since the first iPhone was released.

Because now smartphones are just everywhere.

For better and for worse, these devices have changed the way that we do life.

The way that we work, the way we communicate with others, and the way that we interact or don't interact with the people around us.

I remember my first friend who owned an iPhone.

And I remember it because it was so unusual at the time.

And it was a little bizarre to me how glued he was to that thing.
