And welcome, welcome, because we are going to talk about the effects of birth interventions

on breastfeeding.

And I love this topic.

I don't know if you have enough time for Diane to tell all the things she wants to tell you.

Oh my God, I know.

I'm going to go like it's crazy.

I could talk forever about this. But it was always my favorite. Like when I taught childbirth classes, it would be my

favorite class, which probably scared the hell out of everybody because everybody wants to think

that like nothing impacts anything and that you just go to the hospital and all this stuff

happens and they give you all these meds to help you feel nothing and then

everything's great like nobody wants well yes it's no that there's actually a side effect that that happens right

because it's normal right it's a norm in our culture and there's doctors doing it so it must be normal and fine

normal and fine yeah but it's not.

And it's not. And if we think about it logically, like we have to put it. It's okay. Like if you're

pregnant, don't start freaking out right now. Yeah. No, don't. Don't freaking out. Like, it's, it's okay.

Whatever your birth plans are, your birth is going to be fine as long as you have all the information and you feel empowered and all of that stuff. We're just talking about things that tend to not

get talked about and do sometimes have an effect on breastfeeding. Like your life is not in danger.
