fingers crossed of a really bad strep infection. Miss Ait and I both got really sick a few days

before Christmas, the first Christmas in our new home. We also were going to host Christmas

for the very first time ever. Like I've never

hosted Christmas because we've always had a smaller space and it just made more sense to go to

other people's homes that had more space. And now we have more space. And so we were really

excited to be able to host this year. And the world was

like, um, just kidding. You are the proud new owner of a strep infection, you and your daughter. And it is

going to be miserable. Um, I had strep throat all the time as a kid. and I just remember it as being like a sore throat.

And like I was tired and I took naps.

But like as an adult, it is no joke.
