Well, hello there, top teachers.

Today I am your solo host, Bridget Spackman, and I am here to make your life easier by helping you master your time,

organization, and productivity as a teacher.

We are in a worldwide pandemic, and many of us are at home and working hard to navigate distance learning,

among so many other things.

There are so many challenges that we are facing limited resources, figuring out our

work-life balance, and working on staying positive during a time of uncertainty.

As I near the end of the school year, I want to share a week in my

life with all of you so that you can hear how I am working to manage a household, help two boys

with their own distance learning, keep myself sane, and prepare and manage my own classes during

the COVID-19 school shutdown.

I hope that by listening to this week in my life, you might feel inspired and motivated to get

more things done, but also realize that it is okay to give yourself some grace.

Now, it's Sunday morning and everyone slept in fairly late

today. We have quite a few home projects that have been happening in the Spackman household,

and I have to finish preparing my online lessons for the week. So we have to have our lessons

prepared and posted for the entire week by 9 a.m.

In the morning on Monday. This means directions, resources, videos, and assignments are all posted

for students. This way, if a student has limited access to the internet or help, they're able to gain access to those materials at any point in the week.

So usually I have at least the bones of my assignments completed by now, but I am truly failing in this area this week.

And I'm sad to say that I have nothing ready.

So I'm imagining a lot of my time
