Hello and welcome to the Friday February 16th 2018 edition of Tesla Daily on

official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower and and today we are talking about Dyson's electric vehicle

plans, as well as a little bit about solid state batteries.

And then stick around because at the end I will discuss kind of an idea that I had

for Tesla Daily that I'm going to throw out and we'll see how it goes.

Tesla stock continuing to rebound obviously a strong day on Thursday where the stock closed up more than $10.

That success continued today up 0.43% to $335.49 this compared to the NASDAQ down 0.23%.

Supercharger network update we are currently at 1,163 supercharging locations with one new station opening up in Spain.

Before we talk about Dyson, there's not a whole lot in terms of Tesla News, but one thing to quickly cover.

A couple days ago, a model 3 owner had a pretty serious crash and

thankfully both the owner and the passenger of the vehicle were able to walk away without

sustaining any major injuries. It sounds like the collision happened between the

model three going about 60 miles per hour and another stationary vehicle.

And the person who crashed actually posted about it on Reddit and they said, quote,

I read that Tesla's are one of the safest cars on the road today.

They are right. The car is totaled but I am fine. My right ankle is swollen from hitting the gas pedal,

but I can still walk fine. Had this been a regular ICE vehicle, I would be dead or in a lot worse condition.

Everyone from the paramedics to the tow truck driver said that people don't usually walk away from this.

I already put in another model three reservation."

From the photos on Reddit, the model three was pretty much obliterated, so it's awesome

to see that they were able to walk away from this accident.

And I think it speaks to the safety of Tesla vehicles in general but also specifically to the safety of model three
