Summary

Darrell Peck joins Simon in the studio for a second time as he gives us an update on his recent fishing endeavour's. We talk about his recently released "Pecky's Big Carp Buzz" series. Three films that see Darrell challenge himself on venues in France and Germany. Also, the new Thinking Tackle series is due for release very soon. Danny and Darrell decide to embark on fishing a large French lake which is rumoured to hold some REAL MONSTERS!

It's not a good weight for me, you know, I'm quite tall, but really I should weigh around

14 stone, and so I started having a little bit of a go at dieting.

I won't do any running or anything, just eating clean and and watching how much I

drunk you know because that was the main trouble for me always drinking three or four times a

week a few cans of beer and then takeaways all that sort of caper look just just convenient food

you know and not really thinking about what I'm eating just eating as and when I can get old

or something and it's not a good way to be so So yeah, around February started dieting a little bit. And then when I was doing it sort of three times a week in between fishing, so I was like doing some press-ups and some pull-ups in the garage. And then obviously lockdown came on and just started doing a bit more. Sort of exercising every day when the kids were having a nap, you know, just an hour,

you know, not going mad at it or anything, but eating more or less like a monk six days

a week and on this on one, not strictly seven days a week, but like one, one day a week

roughly I would have a takeaway and and half a dozen beers just to make

just make myself feel sane you know it's all getting a bit too stressful at home we're all

under each other's feet especially for someone like me lives outside for vast majority of the

time you know just being in that environment with screaming kids and no escape there were times

and I to go in the van to the co-op and get six beers and have a little bit of me. Just calm down a little bit. Yeah. Wake up in the morning you put on four pounds, but it doesn't matter. It was just like you had to do it. But it's a drink though, isn't it? I mean, you can put so much weight on from just that. that. I mean, you just take that out of the equation a bit and that makes a big difference. Yeah, yeah. It's always been a thing for me, you know, I love to drink beer and it's...
