Ladies and gentlemen, episode 10 of George Ezra and Friends The Podcast, episode 10 with the

lovely Sam Smith. For those of you that are new to the show, my name is George Ezra, I'm a musician,

I'm a singer, I'm a songwriter, and this is my little podcast where I sit down with friends and

other musicians to talk about what they do, why they do, how they do, and everything they've done

to get to where they are today. I myself recently released my second album, Staying At Tomorrow's,

which is out there, which is amazing. I mean, it's amazing that it's out there, I'm not saying

the album's great, it's good, maybe can I say that? Yeah, years ago Sam very kindly invited me to

support him on an American tour, which meant that my first ever gig in New York was at Madison Square

Gardens. That's crazy, isn't it? I always say the only way is down from there, but yeah, what an amazing

opportunity, and you know, I'm always extremely grateful that he invited me on that tour. And since then,

you know, Sam's just been going from bigger to bigger to bigger, and we were both playing in

Birmingham two weeks ago, and so I jumped off stage having Soundchecked and jumped in a car and

headed around to his venue. He invited me into the backstage area, and we sat for about an hour,

and yeah, just spoke about everything going on in his world, it was brilliant. He even gave me a
