You know, Ira used the analogy as we bring John Eagan back in.

He used the analogy, or maybe it was baked, maybe his use who said,

who likened Rutgers to a gambler.

You know, it gets get you to thinking about betting in sports.

Steve Clark brought up a very interesting point, Bakes,

in talking about the growth in popularity,

the boon in popularity of college athletics,

college football, specifically. There was this talk or thought

that NIL was going to sink the popularity of college athletics. That was actually a claim that

the NCAA's attorney made in arguing against NIL.

But we've seen the exact opposite.

College football has never been more popular.

I mean, the Indiana National Championship game, the ratings absolutely soared for that.

You know, it begs the question, what is the reason?

Steve, his hypothesis is that the reason that college athletics,

or maybe it was A.A.L.

Either way, that the reason that it has, or maybe it was A. Aedleson, but either way, that the reason

that it has ascended so much is betting, sports betting, being able to bet at the palm of your hands.

I'm curious if you think that has anything to do with how popular college football is now,

and whether you think that this is sustainable,

this level of popularity with where we are with the NIL and the transfer portal.
