podcast I've got three briefs for you this morning that are shaping America and the

world. First up, the U.S. economy is about to get a jolt as the labor strike at most of America's

ports has begun. I've got the latest.

Second, the vice presidential debate is set for tonight with the Democrat nominee,

Mr. Tim Walls, caught up in yet another scandal. This one is about China. Details on that shortly.

Third, I've got an update for you on the war in Lebanon with Israeli Special Forces on the

March this morning with Tinks and troops following closely behind also

some hoothe attacks on American forces we will uncover all of that and talk about

why it matters especially how we could have some good news here, we could have at long last peace in the Middle East.

We'll cover that. But before we get to that, let's cover a quick update this morning

about the floods in the southeast of this country following Hurricane

Helene. By now we have all seen the absolutely horrific pictures and video the

heartbreak of towns and families washed away.

Basic services are still down this morning, so it's still really hard to know how bad things really are.

Various charitable groups have descended into the region, so that is good. Some are trying to get

Starlink Internet service in to help us all understand how bad things are.

So the good news here is that help is certainly on the way, althoughosh, recovery is going to take years.

So with that in mind, let's do what we can to support our friends in the region.

I've got some links in the transcripts for some reputable charities, but we should

know that Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis is encouraging folks to donate to what is called

the Florida Disaster Fund. Also, there is the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund that is also
