Ladies and gentlemen, here we are, it is Episode 8 of George Ezra and Friends, the podcast.

Thank you very much for meeting me here. For those of you that are new to this, my name is George Ezra, I'm a musician, I'm a singer, I'm a songwriter, and just over a week ago I released my second record, Staying At Tomorrow's, which is never not bizarre, saying that out loud. I'm still getting used to that.

So yeah, I'm very busy at the moment to give you an idea of what I'm up to, it's kind of touring time and meeting a lot of lovely people and seeing a lot of new things, and it's great.

So thank you very much for all of your support. This week's guest, without further ado, is the completely lovely Jesse Ware, who very kindly invited me over to her place, and I think it was in the middle of a bit of a hectic day.

I imagine most of her days a hectic full of all exciting things, and she was very kindly gave me a little slice of her time, which was lovely.

And of course, for those of you that don't know, which I'm sure you do already, Jesse has her own podcast, it's a podcast called Table Manors, where herself and her mother cooked dinner for their guests, and they chat about all sorts, music, life, food.

And it was absolutely lovely. I was a guest on the show, and it was an episode with a twist, but I'll let you go and find out what that twist was. It was very funny. It may need chuckle a lot. It was great.

So thank you very much for having me. Pleasure. How are you? I feel very high-pourge. I feel like I've had too many coffees and I've got too many ideas in my head, but yeah, I'm alright.

That's good though. Yeah. What's today being busy with?

I don't know if I should say this. Pissed waiting my agent, though I'm going to be able to do festivals next year.

And no, kind of meetings and whatnot, and just also being a mum and having a really messy house and having you as a guest and sorting out like logistic things.

It's just about one of those logistical nightmare days, but yeah, everything's good.

Really? We're both at a point now where we're both promoting music, and there's a difference. I get knackered and go to bed and have time to myself.

Yeah. You don't have that luxury anymore. No.

And that must be a completely different kind of fish, but let's wait for that bit.

No, it's just I find when I'm recording these, it really helps me if there's like some, like if it's kind of chronological.
