But we are going to get away from the hardwood chat, hardwood talk, and get some diamond notes on the softball side of things, the Michigan softball side of things,

that is, and talk to Michigan softball coach Bonnie Tho, about the week that was and the week that

will be joining us here again this morning, Bonnie Tho.

Bonnie Good morning.

How are you?

I'm doing okay, Sam.

How are you doing over there?

Doing outstanding.

This is always a really, really fun time a year.

You're going to have so many great sports on campus.

You got Michigan women's basketball.

You got Michigan softball as well.

And the weather even is cooperating, knocking on wood.

Yeah, right?

You never know what the weather around here.

But it looks promising.

But it looks like you're going to be able to have a great weekend here in Ann Arbor. And we'll build up to that, Bonnie. But let's, uh, let's, let's reflect for a moment on the, on the opening of Big Ten play. You went out and you faced one of the top teams in the country. you know it's's obviously, you know, always a tough thing to do on the road, but particularly when you're facing a team like Nebraska. Well, we knew it was going to be a challenge, and that's right. We're not going to shy away from any challenges, right? And we headed into Big Ten play, feeling pretty good about where we are, and we still feel good.

We have some things, obviously, to clean up, and it gave us a really good look at what some of the top teams in the country, how they truly execute, and what we need to do to be one of those top teams.

So, you know, we went into the game, game one, and we faced their

superstar lefty pitcher who truly does know how to bend the ball and it's kind of fun to watch.
