It's Michigan softball coach, Bonnie, goodau. Bonnie, good morning. How are you?

Damn, I'm doing well. We are getting ready to enter the Big Ten season. Big Ten play for us,

even though the conference began the Big Ten play last weekend. That was our bye weekend. And so

we are happy to be home for just a quick moment before we head out to Lincoln, Nebraska, today, and then start our play.

Once we get through playing the Huskers, we will be back home in Ann Arbor for a couple of weeks to welcome our fans back to Carroll Hutchins Stadium. And so looking forward to the challenge we have ahead of us.

Yeah, exciting times to say the least. But let's put a bow on the spring break trip

before we look ahead to Big Ten play and Nebraska.

You guys finished off at Hokey Invitational going two and one down the stretch run of the spring break trip.

So let's start off first with the Thursday tilt, which really, Bonnie, it seemed like it was, you know, in a nutshell, the story of the first inning.

Five in the first inning for you versus Boston College.

Five endings in the first inning for Virginia Tech in the game against the Hokies.

A game that you scratch the clawed to get back with that they came on top in.

Yeah, absolutely.

You know, we'll start with Boston College to start.

You know, in this tournament, by the way, we were shorting our trip.

We were on the road for a long time, and I wanted to get back to campus so we can have a solid weekend off of rest before heading back out to Nebraska.

So where other teams were playing four and five games on the weekend, we were just scheduled to play three games, which is great.

We just get some competition in.

I did want to make sure that we did play Virginia Tech, which is a top 10 team.
