The Top Dog of the Week with the Humane Society of Huron Valley on the big 1050 WTCA.

Indeed, it is my favorite segment of the week, the top dog of the week with our friends from the Humane Society of Huron Valley doing such great work in this community for so many years, helping the dogs in need by loving homes right here in this community and joining us this week from Humane Society of Huron Valley.

And for Wendy Welch is Laura Crouch. Laura, good morning. How are you?

Good morning. I'm good. Thanks for having me back.

Yeah, thanks for coming on with us and telling us about the top dog of the week.

But before we get into talking about the top dog, I always ask you guys, Laura, is this a love train week?

This week is not, but next week will be a love train week.

So, Laura, tell us about this week's top dog.

Yeah, this week's top dog is named Colby. And I wanted to talk about him because he's kept getting passed over. And one reason could be at first glance, he's just like so many dogs in our shelter. He is about 55 pounds, 100, or one and a half years old. He's a black and white pit bull mix.

Doesn't stand out very much visually, but his personality is so fantastic.

He actually came to us after running out into the road in front of a car, and the couple in the car was just back from their first anniversary dinner, which was very cute.

But they decided to stop and take Colby and bring him to the shelter, and they just had glowing reviews about him.

They said he's the sweetest boy.

They love him so much.

He just wants to love and be loved.

So this guy's just got the most wonderful personality.
