On the other side, and we've already discussed this morning,

but it's worthy of mentioning here at the top of the 8 o'clock hour,

once again, as I'm also posting here on the board

because these were correspondences late into the night because the news broke yesterday evening or last night.

And so as we, you know, as we were bedding down, the news was coming across the phone and, you know, weekend, tending to some family things and regathering and said, oh, look at this, Santa Ono stepping down, heading to the SEC.

I knew the next thing I was going to see was, it wasn't going to be from,

it wasn't going to be from Michigan, folks.

It was going to be a bunch of Buckeyes and disparities making assumptions, right?

And surely it was.

And they were all misinformed.

They were all wishing on the star.

They were all projecting.

Why does every piece of news about Michigan end up with some sort of a statement from them about a hammer?

Yeah, right. But we, what Michigan fans should know or need to know is this has nothing to do with

sports, the decision to leave. A president who,

obviously, from the standpoint of support of athletics, is set the bar. I think that's why

you have the reaction from the fan base being more pronounced than you've ever seen a fan base be over a precedent's departure, right?

Since when, you know, does a football, does, you know, a football fan base or a basketball fan base and athletics fan base really, really react to the departure of a university president?

That doesn't really amount to a sports topic, right?

Except when that president is a really good cheerleader.
