And so they got what they needed to, they did what they needed to do to live to fight another day.

You know, Sam, I want to say, you know who was happiest with how the game played out? The Tigers, because right at the window of the time the Pistons were holding on to win at the end of the game, the Tigers blew the save at the ninth inning. And nobody was really watching because they were all watching the basketball game. Distracted. Yeah, sometimes you can get an assist from your pro-brother and the Tigers got one last night.

We mentioned in the last segment that we associate with great events.

No event greater than the Michigan softball academy, which was amazing again this year.

Approaching $216,000 raised this year.

Yeah. Justin, you think, ah, you know, you're going to, it'll do well, but will it, well, it eclips two again? It felt like, yeah, we've, you know, we obviously have a lot of conversations leading up to it, and we'll talk to Bonnie about that. We were, there were a lot of distractions going on in town. Thank you, Dusty. Thank you, KBA.

We had a lot of distractions in town leading up to the event. But in the end, it's always whatever is beyond a grand slam. I don't know what goes next. Yeah, I don't even know. This was that, though, joining us to reflect upon that in the week that was. And the week that, look ahead to the week that we'll be in Michigan softball is our great friend, the head softball coach at the University of Michigan. Bonnie, good morning. How are you? I'm doing well, and I love that, Ira. I love that tagline, grand slam of an event, because it certainly was. And we've said it for years.

We say it all the time that it's not where you start, but where you finish.

And so that you continue just to build momentum.

That's exactly what this event did.

We started a little slow.

We were wondering if we were going to have the participation, the numbers.

But as it turns out, we had, I think, in total, 166 participants, and 130

participated on the field with that extra 30 plus to join us at the social mixer. And, you know,

energy, again, it was a beautiful day. The energy was high, and it just kept elevating. The energy got better and better

as the night went on. And really, I mean, you took it home, Iro, with the paddle raise. And so,

you're right, we are just over $215,000, which, again, we hit our goal and surpassed it, and we keep moving. Yeah. You know, Sam, she's talking about things rising and rising and keep going, kind of like that one home run, Brandon, hit that hit the top of the batter's eye of the baseball side that was the top third. Bonnie, I know you guys, over the years, you've seen a lot of home runs, whether it into the baseball field or hit to the bat, like that. But that is about as smashed to softballs as I think we've ever witnessed. The home run, it was really fun. Sorry, Sam. It certainly was. The balls were flying, right? And it's not an easy thing to step into that batter's box in front of, you know, a few hundred people and, you know, dust off some of that rust and get

going.
