I was reading a couple days ago some of the quotes from the In the Trenches podcast with John Jans.

And he was talking to Zach Marshall.

And Zach had all these comments about the Michigan football offense. And we talked about it yesterday on the MGO blog roundtable. And I thought, what better way to translate everything Zach said to the football fans than what better way than to bring on our guy, Al. And so, Al, good morning. Happy, well, we're less than two weeks away until we start our countdown to the Michigan football season. Happy summertime.

It's great to be on.

It's been a little while.

I had to kind of brush up on my stuff, but I went to several practices.

Kyle was really good about letting me in, so I got a pretty good feel for how they went about things.

And it was a little different than what you saw in the spring game.

I can assure you that there are a lot more flamboyant on both sides of the ball.

All right.

Yeah, we try to tell everybody when you go to the spring game, it is one of 15 practices

and it's just a sliver of the spring. Just like anybody,

if, Al, if you had been to just one practice the entire spring, we'd ask you your opinion

of the one practice, but you would put it in context of you saw them practice one time. And

there's a lot of other contexts that is needed for that one practice. So important to note that

you obviously have had a chance to see the team a little bit.

But I want to jump, start with these quotes from Zach Marshall, which is more of a generic

statement that as an offensive coordinator yourself, when you hear a kid say this,
