Welcome back inside the Ann Arbor Studios of the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com. It's an opportunity week for the Michigan football team. That's what they call the buy week and then coming off the buy week. They have their final three games and I know there's been a lot of questions about how Michigan will play coming off the buy. They did not play great coming off of their last buy. I will mention that last year they had a late season buy as well for their second buy. And then the next game was a home game against Northwestern. And we remember how that one went because right after the buy week, they got a commitment from Bryce Underwood. And then they beat Northwestern. They beat the pants off of Northwestern pretty good. And then, of course, they beat Ohio State down in Columbus.

So can they come out of the by week a little sharper than they win in the by week? That would be a big step for this team. They need to be sharper on both sides of the ball. But in particular, in that passing game, which is what Al and Sam have been talking about. So we're going to get back to the Michigan football offensive breakdown with Sam Webb and Al Borges with Al's grades and more. as we here with Sam and Al here on the Michigan Insider on the big 1050 WTCA.

Al Borges, it is going to be an interesting sort of equation coming off the by to see how they move in this game.

Because one of the notes in this game that stuck out to me was the shift.

They had been calling like 16, 17, 18 RPO's a game.

Now, that was like his comfort zone.

You know, that was like his go-to play.

And that was a startling shift in this contest.

Seven RPO's in this game.

That's a steep decline.

Now, I'm not going to ask you to speculate as to why,

but it is a noteworthy shift.

The downturn in the number of RPO's they call them.

This is not a, you know, it's not like you go from calling 16 or 17 of them based on one subparr game where he was misreading him and say, oh, he can't run that play anymore.

It can't be that, you know, so I'll be interested to see, you know, what the mix is coming off by.

That's going to be one of the things that I love.

Yeah, for some reason, there wasn't as many.

And I think they like some of the runs that they were seeing as a game.

I think this is a battlefield deal more than anything, more than it was preconceived.
