Real quickly, though, I just want to make one quick correction. I appreciate the call that came in from the previous segment when I said Mike Bass. He's from Insolani, but of course he played at Michigan. He was at Michigan from 63 to 66. And he actually, the amazing part is that he was an offensive player.

He was a halfback for most of his time here in Ann Arbor, and he played defensive back in the NFL. That was a morning. That's just a morning. He is from Ipsilani. That was where the Ipsi Park got in my head, but he is from Ipsi. But he, of course, played his football here for Michigan for Bump Elliott. So I appreciate the call that came in this morning,

and that is my correction.

But now let's get to the recruiting roundup here on the Michigan Insider and from the Michigan Insider.com. Bryce's marriage joins us. Bryce, good morning, my friend. How are you? where you're going as the snow is coming down a little bit.

I mean, we're Michiganers. We're kind of used to, but yeah,

it's a little slick out there this morning.

So news came in yesterday

in the evening, I think this came

while we were at the basketball game, but the reports that

Lou Esposito is leaving Michigan to become the new defensive line coach for my professional

team and former Michigan defensive coordinator, new Ravens head coach, Jesse Minner.

So I wanted your reaction to that, obviously the impact that it has on recruiting, because

Lou had a phenomenal year last year recruiting for Michigan.

Yeah, I would say in terms of recruiting, it's a big loss. He used their number one recruiter on the staff.

He ended his cycle, the 2026 cycles to number four overall recruiter in the country.

So he was literally one of the best recruiters, not just here in Michigan or in the Big Ten conference, but just in general.

And so it's a loss for sure.

I just think the biggest thing with that, though, is honestly the timing works out from Michigan a little bit just because, you know, Michigan, the new staff,

they're starting to work on the recruiting board. They're starting to build it. And with him

leaving now, it gives you little time to get a new replacement and kind of work on the next crop
