So, you know, obviously I've been away for much of the weekend, tending to some,

uh, tended to some, you know, things that you do on the weekends when you're dealing

with family.

But saw this last night and late, late, late into the evening made some calls and texts.

And so much of this conversation we cannot have here on the radio, nor can I have over on the Michigan Insight.

Because it's not a sports conversation.

What am I talking about?

I'm talking about Santa Ono's decision to leave the University of Michigan.

He has been a huge breath of fresh air when it comes to the support of athletics from the president's office.

There is no question.

When you talk about the ability to see the impact of athletics on the bottom line,

what do you call it, you call it the doorstep of the, you know, you call it, the front porch, yeah, you call it the front line. What do you call, Iro? You call it the doorstep of the, you know, you call it.

Front porch.

The front porch.

Yeah, you call it the front porch.

You know, to see it as more than just, you know, that thing over there that you do on

Saturdays.

I think he has been forward thinking, more forward thinking than most presidents in that

respect, in that regard.
