Welcome back inside the Ann Arbor Studios of the Big 1050 WTKA online at the big 1050.com.

This is always one of my favorite times of the year.

The start of the college basketball seasons, of course, Michigan men got underway on Monday.

The women got underway yesterday.

There's basketball all across the country that is going on that has been highly entertaining to watch.

Some good games here and there anyway as the games are going to start ramping up.

And of course, we are in the meat of the NFL and college football seasons. The first CFP rankings came out last night. This is always a great time of year on the sports calendar. and it's also pretty good time to have a bye week for the Michigan football team as they're about to head into the final quarter of their regular season with games at Notre Dame or at Northwestern at Wrigley Field against Maryland, down in College Park, Maryland.

And then, of course, the finale in Ann Arbor, the game against Ohio State.

So they have a bye week to rest and recover.

We have a buy week to rest and recover.

And then some of us, hopefully a lot of us, are heading off to Chicago for the game

at Wrigley Field.

In the meantime, it's our time to get back to the Michigan football offense and

breakdown more with Sam Webb and Alborges here on the Michigan Insider on the big

1050 WTCA.

What I will take positive from this is that his eyes were better this week.

So last week we saw him missing bubbles.

We saw him look the wrong way on the shot play.

You know, so his eyes weren't good last week.

His eyes were better this week.

So at least we made some progress in that regard.
