Hi everyone and welcome to a special session number five of the Art of Catholic.

Great to have you here with me.

Today's a special show because I've got Taylor Marshall on the show. He's a

great friend of mine. We were speaking at a conference together at

Franciscan University called the Phi Biblical Studies Conference, which is

co-sponsored by the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, which is where I'm

the executive director. And it's a great who's who of people in the Catholic world.

Of course you have the likes of Dr. Scott Hon and brand

P.T. and John Bergz, you know, people like that.

So Taylor was there speaking and I said,

you know what, we should go jump in the studio.

We were both given talks.

I spoke on redemptive suffering.

I talk called Love Hurtz, the truth behind redemptive suffering. You can check that out at a lighthouse, Catholic media. Taylor was there giving some talks to.

And so I said, I'd love to talk to you about your conversion story. He and I have talked about it

just in person. He's got a really fascinating story. He's from the same place that I am. He's from

the Dallas, Texas area. He still sounds like it. I don't anymore. But we don't just talk about his

conversion story. We also talk about some of the great things that he's got going on with the

New St. Thomas Institute. As you will hear, he's doing a lot of great stuff and it's really worth

a listen and we kind of get into some spiritual life stuff too. You know, we're just conversing
