A lot of basketball this hour in the basketball conversation with Sam Webb and Tim McCormick continues and concludes right now talking more Michigan men's hoops here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK.

I want to harp on what you said about Danny as a rebounder for all of his offensive struggles that he went through for a couple of weeks.

Man, he killed it on the boards.

Yeah, two games.

He had four points.

Yeah, he killed it on the glass.

And we brought that up.

He's like he might have four points, but I think he had 13 boards in one of those games.

He was tremendous on the glass.

It didn't affect the other parts of his game.

Mike, I think the Northwestern, or maybe it was the Penn State game, for instance.

He had two huge blocks in that game where, you know, you're still doing other things.

You know, we talked about, like, just like we said about Roddy, he's playing, he's not

scoring, but he's playing great defense.

I think that's the great thing about this team.

But to get back to Danny specifically, all the NBA hype and first round talk, it'd be very easy to get caught up in all of that when you aren't going as well offensively.

And when that wasn't happening, he didn't let that affect the other things he was doing, namely be the best rebounder

in the Big Ten. He kept doing that at a very, very high level. And I agree with you. And that,

that to me is as startling as he is as a ball handler. You know, because you see him facing up and

driving and doing all that. What he's doing on the glass, you know, because you see him facing up and driving and doing all that.

What he's doing on the glass, Tim Nate, I'm telling you, they said, don't expect him to rebound.
