So the Michigan basketball winning started on Friday night at the Breslin Center.

And then it continued yesterday at the Brezlin Center as the Michigan women's basketball team completed the basketball sweep of the maize and blue over the green and white up at their building.

Do we get to take ownership of the Brazilian Center for a little while? I was trying to figure out this morning if Tom Izzo sees his shadow, what does that exactly mean? Is that more grouchiness, more winter? What does that mean? I'm not exactly sure. But in the meantime, we'll get back to Tom Izzo and the Michigan men's basketball team's victory over MSU in a little bit. But right now, let's go back to yesterday and Michigan women's basketball is 94-91, overtime victory over MSU up in East Lansing after the game we heard from head coach Kim Barnjerico. So let's hear from KBA now from yesterday celebrating Michigan's victory over MSU here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK. You had a couple players in foul trouble early and with two fouls and went back to them in the first half.

I'm wondering what your sort of philosophy is when you get in that spot. The type of aggressive defense you play, obviously there's some risk not having the like auto bench until halftime. Yeah, it was definitely a risk. Kendall Dudley picked up her third, so we definitely paid the price on it.

Silas stayed in for a bunch of minutes with two, which was really risky because Michigan State was, I mean, they attack your one-on-one defense really has to be great.

But I did feel like if they weren't in the game, you know, they might have gone on a run there.

So we were trying to pick and choose and sub them in for each other

and make a rotation and try to go with that.

Because both of our post players were in foul trouble

at that point as well.

Cam, you know, obviously Olivia and Scyla

get a lot of the headlines, but what can you say about what Mila did today?

Yeah, I mean, we, you know, we've been talking about Mila, you know, for two years now.

The national media didn't know her coming in because she wasn't a McDonald's All-American,

and those other two guys were McDonald's All-Americans.

But what she brings to our team and who she is is absolutely incredible.

Slam did, you know, a photo shoot with, they wanted, you know, our team and Mila was a part of that.

Like, we understand Mila's value to our program, to our team, and she's, you know,

she's incredible. And, you know, when you add another player with Liv and Scyla that's playing

at that level, you know, it really makes us tough to defend and who are other teams' matchups
