It's a bye week for the Michigan football team, but we still had a chance to check in with some players yesterday. On the offensive side of the ball, you heard from Andrew Sprague on the defensive side of the ball. You heard from Jaden Mangum. And now let's go to special teams. A lot of questions about special teams this year. a lot of work still to be done on special teams for the maze and blue to talk about that. And more. Yesterday we heard from special teams ace Joe Taylor who met with the media. So we'll get to him right now. Here is Joe Taylor here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTCA. A huge motivator. I mean, it's just kind of, you know, playing the game. You know, just doing everything to win. One in all every week. To me, I mean, yeah, it's cool to have that, you know, on your resume as a, you know, player here at Michigan. But, you know, for me, I'm just kind of focused on the season. Like I said, just want to know every week. Are there a few of those snaps that stand out that you remember in particular?

Probably, I'd say, last year against Oregon.

Just kind of the force fumble.

Yeah, I mean, there's lots that, you know, I look back sometimes with my camera roll and be like, oh, yeah, that's pretty cool.

TCU was a good one, too, national championship, just throws all those.

Just fun, just being in that environment and being around those guys.

Would you believe that would have been possible when you walked on here those years ago

somebody told you that this moment was going to come?

Yeah, no, probably not.

I didn't really know how much I was actually even going to play here

coming in as a walk down or if I was even going to play at all.

So definitely being able to look back, you know,

four or five years ago and, you know, thinking as a freshman that I break a Glasgow's record of that, you know, definitely wouldn't be on my mind and definitely something that I wouldn't have thought that I'd be doing, but it's pretty cool to look back and think that now. You've been a really... You know what you're about training at Wrigley Field? Do you ever think you'd go there as a football player? No, no, definitely not.

Yeah, I mean, being, you know, having a baseball background, playing for a little bit here too.

I never really thought about, you know, actually playing at Wrigley, especially for football.

But I'm excited for it. I've been there for a few Cubs games. It's awesome during the summertime,

especially Wrigueville, but no, I'm excited for it. It'll be fun. A little different, of course.

Probably be a little bit colder than July at a Cubs game. But I'm sure the wind would probably be the

same that it wasn't July off the lake.

But, yeah, no, I'm excited for it. I'm excited.

You know, it's a unique opportunity that we get to be a part of, so I'm definitely excited for it.
