But right now we're going to hear from Michigan women's basketball coach Kim Bargerico and Brooke Quarles Daniels who met with the media yesterday following the Wolverines heartbreaking three point loss to number two UCLA at the Chrysler Center dropping Michigan the women's basketball team

to 20 and four overall 11 and 2 in the Big 10 so after the game as I said we heard from Kim

Marjorico we heard from Brooke Corals Daniels so here are KBA and BQD now here on the Michigan Insider

on the Big 1050 WTKA I thought UCLA is one of the best teams in the country and we did a heck heck of a job, put ourselves in a position to tie the game at the end.

It was a game of runs.

We came out and did a great job in the start, and then the second and third quarter they kind of took advantage of us.

And then the fourth quarter, I thought we really rallied back.

So a great basketball game, obviously,

super disappointed that we didn't come out on the end of it,

on the other side of it.

But like Brooks said in the locker room,

they're a team of senior, senior, senior,

graduate student, graduate student.

And, you know, Brookies are senior that's on the floor right now,

surrounded by a bunch of younger players.

So I think, you know, we're growing, we're getting better.

We're a team that continues to improve.

And it was just a great game tonight.

You see how I described this game as the feel of an elite eight matchup.

How would you describe the intensity of the game beginning to end?

Yeah, they, you know, describe the game well.

I think, you know, we're both two strong teams that have a chance of making it deep into the tournament. And, you know, the intensity was great because, I mean, you know, it's neck and neck the entire time. A lot of score changes. So it was just a great day for women's basketball and a great day to play for something bigger than ourselves as well.
