I am so excited to have you here and to share a little bit more about me, more than the

Since I'm your host on this show, I thought it would be a really great place to kind of

start off with my own journey of how I discovered Ayurveda, what my own journey to health was,

just so you can get to know a little bit about the perspective that you're hearing from.

So to make a long story short, I was born nine pounds now.

Growing up, I've always known that I was put on this earth to help people.

That was one thing I've always been sure about.

The only confusing part was just how.

So as a child, I wanted to be a marine biologist, I wanted to be a lawyer, I wanted to work

with this that I ended up going to school to become an international human rights lawyer

to specialize in child advocacy, so child labor, child trafficking, child sexual abuse,

things like that.

I went to George Washington University in DC.

I was in the Elliott School of International Affairs, which is like a wonderful international

affairs program, and I started working in the summer at different nonprofit organizations,

helping with immigrants and refugees.

And I realized upon working at these places that it was not the right fit for me.

Since I was young, I've been traveling the world by myself with NGOs, volunteering, building

orphanages, teaching in schools, working in slums.
