dominated Ohio State for an 82-61 victory yesterday down in Columbus, Ohio. The Michigan

Wolverines now 22 and 1 on the season, 12 and 1 in Big 10 play. And after the game, we heard from

a couple of players. We also heard from the head coach. We'll get the dust in a little bit. But right now, let's hear from the leading score, Adai Mar, who had 24 points.

And also, Michigan's second leading score and leading rebounder, Yaksa Lenderborg, who had 14 rebounds and 14 points in the game last night. So let's get to Adai and Yax from yesterday now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTCA.

This time you guys had to lead the entirety.

What was different this time with the way you were able to take care of Ohio State? I would say our maturity coming into this game was a lot more, you know, like enhanced, I guess you can say. We felt like they're a good team, but they don't belong in the same conversation as us.

So, you know, we just had a real big opportunity to put the world on notice that, you know, we're serious about this and we're not going to get big-headed just because, you know, we're at the top right now. So I've tried to do our best to maintain our composer and get this one for a ride to go. It seemed like you guys finished a lot more effectively in the second half.

Was there something that changed in the game plan in the half? Get the ball to a die. I die pretty much just set the tone. Second half with his finishing, his aggressiveness, and, you know, his disability to will, his way into the pain against the defense. And, you know, again, like I said,

staying composed and, you know, just try to dominate as much as we can.

Yeah, man.

You talk about your both of your gravities tonight and making open three-point shots for Michigan?

Well, I would say, like, for me, it just feels great, man. Like, after three years without shooting at three or making a three.

But I know this in my game, I just got to get that confidence back.

But, yeah, it just feels good.

I'm happy that I was able to help the team with those threes.

To add to that, we're just a lot of spacing off the ball, you know, a lot of driving

kick angles and just a lot of like moving and reacting to drives, which is what helped us out a lot. And, you know, just how much preparation we've been putting into this. So, you know, just continue to work on a three ball and make it a part of our game. Go on time. Then it felt like in the second half,

it felt like you guys were ready for them,

sort of running off the line,

like you guys were getting downhill a lot more than the second half. Is that part of it or did it just sort of work out? I would say it just sort of kind of worked out that way. We kind of were settling, like, you know, first half. But also, that's probably why we had such little turnovers, you know.
