Welcome back inside the Inarbor Studios of the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com.

We just wrapped up maybe my favorite four, five, six week stretch of the athletic season.

I love football season.

Don't get me wrong.

But football season is kind of standalone.

I mean, you have college football and pro football.

So they, you know, obviously play off of each other.

And eventually you do get to the beginning of college basketball and pro basketball in the NHL, etc.

But in this stretch in April, you have the closing stretches of the regular seasons of hockey and basketball.

So the games seem to matter a little bit more.

But you have opening day in the beginning of the baseball season, which is always fun. And it's a hope springs eternal every single spring. So you have that. Of course, you have March Madness, which was phenomenal on the men's side of things in particular because Michigan wins the championship one week ago. But we had great action in the men's tournament and the women's tournament. Both of our teams were great. The action in general was great.

So we had great March Madnesses.

There was just a lot of fun watching basketball.

And then, of course, it concludes this stretch concludes with what was over this past weekend,

which was the Masters down at Augusta National, down in Augusta, Georgia.

And you had Rory McElroy ended up winning the Masters, second straight Masters. He joins history.

He joins Jack Nicholas.

He joins Nick Faldo, Sir Nick, excuse me, Sir Nick Faldo.

And he joins Tiger Woods as the only three, not only four golfers to repeat as Masters

Champions.

And so it just does not happen a lot.

Nicholas did it in 65, 66, which remarkably was 20 years before he won his last one.
