And for our plays of the game, the defense play of the game comes very early in the game. In fact, it's the third play of the game is the defensive play of the game. As Michigan State got the ball first, Michigan won the toss and deferred. And this was the best defensive start of a game in Big Ten play. Obviously, in the first couple of first three games, a Big Ten play, they'd given up 70 plus yards and given up two touchdowns in those first three games. Now it was a little better against Washington, and then it was much better against Michigan State. And on the very third play of the game, Michigan's defense play of the game, brought to you by a Bud Light, official game they partner of the Big 1050 WTK, big play by Brandon Hillman, and the first of many big plays by Jimmy Rolder in the game. So here is your defensive play of the game, getting things started for the Wolverines. Wolverines crowding the line of scrimmage, showing blitz. Now they back out of it. Quarterback draw running to his left as Child. And he fumbles the football and the Wolverines are on top of it.

Recovering the football is Jimmy Rolder at the Michigan State 34-yard line just before he went out of

bounds and there's one of those linebackers again, John, making a big play.

Big play Jimmy Rolder recovered it.

Again, it was Jair, I was Brandon Hillman that forced the fumble.

So on that third and two, Michigan gets off the field and gives the Wolverine offense a short field.

Unfortunately, while they do convert a fourth in one from the Michigan State 14, Michigan gets down to the three yard line and they have to settle for a field goal.

So at 10.07, it is 3-0 Michigan early on in this game.

And then we go into a little bit of a punt fest.

Michigan State's offense goes three and out.

Now, I know they were a little bit upset on that second down play with.

There was no pass interference call.

I will say this about the lack of, for the most part, pass interference calls in this game.

The rest were letting them play on the outside.

When did Michigan get a call against Michigan State for defense of pass interference?

When the guy grabbed Michigan's face masks and yanked it around.

It was really blatantly obvious.

Otherwise, they let things go.
