So the Michigan men's basketball team got their victory last night to improve to 17 and one on the season. 7 and 1 in the Big 10. That win, of course, last night was over the Indiana Hoosiers, 8672 at the Chrysler Center. After the game, we heard from Yaksa Lenderborg, who will get to in a little bit. we also heard from head coach dusty may who we get to right now so here is dusty following last

So here is Dusty following last night's victory now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA. Yeah, Dusty from 10 days ago, the lost Wisconsin. You go on the, you pick up two West Coast Road games and then this went tonight. What's the area you're most excited about in terms of improvement? Is physicality, increasing physicality part of that?

What's exciting in your mind that you're most happy?

I think probably that we are continuing to see new things defensively, and for the most part,

we've been able to figure out solutions to team issues.

Now, they did a nice job of isolating us tonight, and they got some baskets one-on-one, so we'll able to figure out solutions to team issues. Now, they did a nice job of

offensively, these teams are sending everyone back, and I think it's a smart game plan. I mean,

obviously, Indiana is very well coached. So they don't, they, Indiana wasn't even crashing boards.

Which takes, it's a given take. Obviously, they're sending everyone back because they don't want us in transition. And so we've been so lethal and effective in transition. So now because they're taking that away, we're having to figure out ways to be effective and efficient in other ways other than that was what was trying to get at. And so credit them. I mean it's a smart game plan we're going to see everything under the sun but for us to figure out ways

and to get these reps getting organized and finding what we need to find is you know i think

we've done it really well at times. Not where we need to be, but

we're not where we need to be yet either. Steve, you guys held Wilkerson well under his average

and DeVries really didn't get it going until the game was already over pretty much. Talk about the job

you played in those two guys. Yeah, they had great scout awareness.

They knew where they were.

And even when they, because Indiana runs good stuff.

I mean, they, and veteran shooters know how to confuse and trick switches.

I mean, it's one of those things where like you can put in all this stuff.

But veteran guys that made shot, make shots their entire careers, they know how to find those creases.
