Man, how the NFL draft last night. A lot of it played out the way I thought it was going to play out. There was a run on tackles. We talked about that on the show yesterday. The Lions were, Sam was hoping the Lions would get a tackle. It was their biggest need. Tackles go 9, 10, 12. and the lines are sitting there at 17, and they have a guy they're specifically targeting.

Would they trade up?

Would they trade down?

How would that work?

All the things that we talked about yesterday, Brad Holmes discussed in his media

availability last night after they drafted Blake Miller with the 17th overall

selection off to tackle 67317 out of Clemson. A lot of snaps, a lot of starts, a lot of experience. Should be able to slot right in as a starting right tackle moving Penteuseul over to left tackle, helping solidify that offensive line for the Lions after the draft last night, after the first round of the draft last night. We heard from Brad Holmes, who met with the media. So here is Brad Holmes now on the Michigan Insider talking about his first pick, talking about Blake Miller, office tackle from Clemson, now here on the Michigan Insider on the big 1050 WTCA. Really high floor player. I actually, which really intrigued, obviously, he's big, he's tough, he's smart, he's a finisher, he has unbelievable football character, work ethic.

I mean, everything from a culture standpoint, he fits that.

That's the easy part, but his ability is the stuff that, I mean, he's athletic.

He's a good athlete, you it's hard to find

guys that can move like that that are finishers which that's what he is um and what's been

interesting on him is he probably has no idea but we've probably been watching blake for about

three years now and he literally has gotten better

every single year and so that's what that's what makes you really excited about a player like

that that actually has a high floor but he's gotten better every year and so coming to this level

with our offensive line coach and our

ecosystem, I don't see any reason why he won't continue to get better.

A lot of the buzzwords that you guys talk about great toughness finishing. That's what those are

the words that he used with us too. When you hear that, when you see that, what does that mean

in terms of just a culture yeah absolutely
