You can call it lying season. You can call it posturing season. I'm not sure what you want to call it. You can call

whatever you want, but we are nine days away until the NFL draft. And this is the time of the

year where you have GMs and executives and coaches meeting with the media or meeting with

season ticket holders. Depends on where you are, different teams do different things. But it seems

to be that for the most part, it's posturing season.

Well, yesterday we heard from Lyons general manager, Brad Holmes, and he spent about 20 minutes

talking with the media.

So you be the judge.

How much is, how much is, well, here's the thing.

We want to believe him, right? We want to believe everything that he has to say. All the GMs and coaches and whoever else that's speaking owners, a whole bunch of people hold different again, as I said, some sort of availability, whether it's with the media or with their season ticket holders or both. But as much as we want to believe believe Brad Holmes, as he meets with the media yesterday,

it's posturing season.

There are definitely some truth in there.

There's definitely some gamesmanship in there, right?

You don't want to tip your hand.

You want to make sure that you kind of play things as close to the vest as possible

so that when it comes to the day of the draft, the days of the draft,

if there's a player or obviously free agency as well, but you start with, say you go out and have an immediate avail and you say, yeah, we really need an offensive lineman or two, and we really need an edge.

I mean, maybe the things are obvious anyway.
