Was that the best hoops weekend we could have in the, to wrap up January and start the month of February? I don't think it could get a whole lot better than that. A great hoops weekend. We will be discussing that hoops weekend all morning long here on the show. After the game, we also heard from Dust on Friday. We heard from Dusty and Hovey players. We heard from Elliot Cadeau, Trey McKinney, and Yaxa Lindenborg, a few minutes from each of those guys, plus Dusty May. Of course, that was on Friday night. Great victory by the Michigan men's basketball team. Dusty's team beats Michigan State in the highest-rate matchup in the rivalries history. I don't think I've ever enjoyed Tom Izzo's birthday more than I did on Friday night. I'm not saying he did, but we don't care. We're glad that we enjoyed his birthday on Friday night. And then, of course, the Michigan women's basketball team yesterday. Kim Barngerico's team beats Michigan State in the highest-rate matchup in the rivalries history. So the biggest rivalry matchup games ever based on rankings, Michigan won both of the games and they were both of the Breslin Center. And it was a great weekend. It was Michigan women's second straight win in East Lansing over a ranked Sparty. They did that to them last year as well. A very satisfying victory on the hardwood. So we'll hear from KBA. We'll hear from Dusty.

We'll hear from the few of the players in the men's team as well. We'll get to that coming up in a little bit here on the show. We've got more men's basketball for you coming up in the 8 o'clock hours. We're always joined by an assistant basketball coach at around 825. Again, I don't think you could ask for a better late January into February weekend than we got in basketball.

Throwing the fact that the hockey team got two wins down in Columbus and, yeah, it's pretty darn good

weekend.

But I'm just looking ahead already.

On Thursday, we've got Michigan men's basketball at home. Pink game versus Penn State.

On Friday, it's a blueout for Michigan hockey versus Michigan State at Yosice Arena.

On Saturday, it's Michigan hockey versus Michigan State, the duel in the D at Little Cases Arena.
